Being happy

2012 started well for me and all I want is to make it last. So since it's new year I have to kick away some bad habits and stay healthy for sure. I need to learn to love myself more and to feel at least a little better. I feel so insecure at times and I'll start to be paranoid about everything. No it's bad, I need to change. Life is simple now and I like it. Maybe god is fair; when he took away something from you he'll replace with something else, even better. At the same time I'm starting to believe in fate, or maybe not. But it can't be always so coincidental right? I can't ask for more so I'm thankful for you and the people around me. I appreciate it. I would do anything just to make them feel a little better or to cry with them to share their sorrows. Most importantly is to get that smile back and be happy again.

I know I've been lacking of photos so I'll try to remember to bring my camera out and snap lots of photos. Also to get films so that my polaroid won't sit in the drawer to collect dust and spider webs but to be in good use :) Oh and I need to be less careless!! Almost lost my phone the other day outside Zirca but thankfully for that kind lady to return me *phew* Butttttt I lost of ezlink card again for the sixth times? I can't even remember how many times I lost it :( So sad.

That's about it, I'm off!

Recently I'm doing fine and most importantly I'm happy. I was only assured with good days from that day I'd decided to let go. Back then, it was complicated and I've no idea why I landed myself in that state. It was dark and empty, felt like a lost soul. That was a long nightmare. Right now I should be glad that I'm moving forward, to realize I'm learning everyday and things which I should be more concerned with.

I was the hair model for Wella workshop. And this is the last photo of my long and straight hair :( So they trimmed my hair until slightly above chest area and did a cold perm for me which no thermal was involved. Therefore it was less harmful for my hair. But on the other hand, it also means that the curls won't last long. I'm actually not used to my current hair length though.

Sometimes I feel good and sometimes I feel like shit. This is just like a emotional roller-coaster that I'm encountering with everyday. A person might just appear and ruin my day or a joke that could make my day awesome and so on. What's really bothering me? I'd always threw myself this question all the time but I couldn't get a define answer. Has my cheerfulness and smile that I used to have gone for long?
At some days, a hug or a comfort would do the job and that's all I needed most.

Yesterday was one of the best nights ever. I love small gatherings like this, when we sit in circle to play games and/or talk about anything. Last night, I experienced heart-warming conversations and words that triggered emotions. We can identify friends that are true & closest to us, and letting go those who are not is the only choice. Friends that are worth the time and effort for. We need to learn how to break-free ourselves and the basic of happiness.

I don't understand you and neither I understand myself as well. We're all humans with feelings but I don't get it why people can be so cruel and harsh, be it in words or actions. It's weird that this cycle is repeating and I can't explain why. I was being forced to make a decision under such circumstances and ignoring wasn't my intention. No doubt, almost everytime I was pushed to a corner and left unanswered. Then I'll start questioning myself all over again.

All I need is an answer.

Corneal ulcer

My right eye is infected with viruses that causes corneal ulcer. Since I can't sleep as I need to instil eye drop every half hr till my morning appointment (makes no sense to take every half hr nap right), I shall take some time to research about it.

From Wikipedia,
"A corneal ulcer, or ulcerative keratitis, or eyesore is an inflammatory or more seriously, infective condition of the cornea involving disruption of its epithelial layer with involvement of the corneal stroma. It is a common condition in humans particularly in the tropics and the agrarian societies."
It is commonly caused by chemical injury, contact lenses, dry eyes and infections. For my case, it's believed that I wore my contact lens for too long besides, I usually have dry eyes. Furthermore, I remembered wearing a pair of expired lens.

Symptoms of corneal ulcer are painfulness due to nerve exposure, tearing, squinting, redness and even vision lost of the eye.

So I had this sore eye 3 days ago and still thought that it was just infection, so eyemo would do the job. Until yesterday night when I sensed something wasn't right and decided to seek a doctor the today. So I went to a clinic nearby and the doctor told me it was corneal ulcer and I was asked to go down to SGH A&E.

The diagnosis was done by direct observation under magnified view of slit lamp to reveal the ulcer. And after which, corneal scraping was done and examined under microscope. No, it wasn't painful when the doctor was scraping but it was torturing to force my eye open when the light was shined directly into my eye, and tears kept running down. Instantly, I felt like my degree has gone up. I was fortunate enough that the ulcer did not grew in the center of my iris, if not I'll loss my vision.

Remember to take care of your eyes especially if you're a contact lens user. Do not wear your lenses for too long and remember to change your solution everyday. Changing of container monthly would be good as well.

If that's the way how you can be happy, I'm fine with it. Yes to be honest I'm really disappointed but what can I do? The cruelty of one's personality can bring so much harm to a person. I assured to myself but at times uncertainties just made me a little confused and perhaps, lost. I wasn't quite sure if I'm supposed to be there or even my presence was valid. To think of it, I'm better off this way right? Reminders kept knocking on my head telling me that I should be happy and then yes I am. I'm glad and thank you. I love the people who're existing in my life right now because you all bring me so much happiness and splattered it with colors which I thought it has gone for long.

We can never be the best, we can never be treated fairly and there's always someone who will lose out in this whole picture. At some point of time I really wish to give up, on everything. It makes no sense and it seems no point. Moreover no one see my existence and I'm fading. I really hate how I'm feeling right now. I know I'm too emotional but I can't control. The facts. Who doesn't wants to feel contented in life? I want to pull off my smile willingly too but there's still a distance to it. I can choose to push everything aside but because I care, because I've feelings, that's why I stopped every single time. Who could really understand how I feel?

Leaving aside of that, exams are up end of the month and I need to be prepared early. I can't afford to do badly this time. And during this holiday, I gonna work my ass off to generate more revenues for overseas trips! I need some getaways.

I met someone whom I've appreciated so much yesterday. It was on coincidence and I was surprised to see him in school as well. We had a nice short conversation and I'm glad to hear that everything's going well over there. It was so heart-warming to see him again, after what had happened and all. I believe that you'll be better ahead off and I'll be here feeling happy for you. It was never enough but it was really amazing. Thanks for poppin' by and leaving so much to stay with me. I had a great day today (or maybe yesterday). Finally got my eyebrow threaded and now it looks so much neater and cleaner? HAHA. I'll need some time to get use to my thin brow :/ Had some shopping session with sis in town. It has been ages since we went out together, she's always busy with her work. Didn't spend much but I bought two new tops! And the day ended well with late dinner @ Old Town.

I don't understand why, why I've to double my effort when it's only at the finger tip of someone's. This shouldn't be the reason why life is unfair. It shouldn't be this way. Sometimes even when I gave in my hundred per cent, I got nothing in return. Honestly all I wanted was a thank you, a warm and true thank you that's all. And that would be the best appreciation I can get. I hate it when someone thinks that one deserves all these when they actually credited off from someone.

I seriously need to have a better time management. My time is so corrupted and my body clock is screwed until recently I see some improvement. I need to rush out two projs (talking about it, I almost forgot that one assignment is due this coming Friday) by next week. AND I'm so careless, I left my thumbdrive in school's lab and only realized it ten minutes ago. Besides proj datelines, exams are around the corner too, when I'm totally not aware of it. Revision needs to start soon as I did real badly for my tests and have to rely majorly on projs and exams to pull all my grades up. I've no one to blame but myself.

I took two steps forward one step back. I fell hundred miles down and took thousand times climbing up. Yes I did it, and made it this far. No one can imagine how I struggled my way thru, how hard it was back then. Now I see the light, this beam of light piercing into my eyes, I sense hope. This would be the path ahead and I'll walk my way, slowly and steadily this time. I need not rush nor to fear. My hands are held tightly and fingers crossed fingers because right now I've my friends with me, walking this long journey with me. I'm elated. I'm happy.

Finally caught Transformer today! I pretty like that show even though I didn't have the chance to watch the previous one. I get what the movie was trying to show and surprisingly, I was moved by the bonds between the machines and humans (8 I'm feeling depressed right now as I've to wait until Sunday to get my iphone replaced. It feels 'naked' w/o apps. And so much of jailbreak, now I'm not getting use to the unjailbreak state )':

Even so I was right but why did I voice out in the first place? It won't make any differences and nothing would be changed as well. It's always so unpredictable; when sometimes it seems possible, it might not be and vice versa. Perhaps someday, it'll come back eventually. I'm mentally drained, by what I really don't know.. but I was at the right mind isn't it? I'm just too afraid, of everything. This phobia has been staying with me all these while and no one knows. I feel pathetic. Why it's forever me? No one can truly understand how it feels. All I wanted was a little more understanding whenever I tell someone else but to my disgust, no. Went to shop for my bbq stuffs and groceries with Cherie and these whole trolley of things were what we'd gotten and we spent a lot paying for all these. What's more hilarious was that we pushed this trolley out of the mall into her condo!

I know I look superrrrrrr weird w/o contact lens, I got used to wearing them to enhance my eyes ):

School holiday ends this week and starting next Monday. I'm not prepared for anything yet, even my sleeping cycle has totally flipped over when I'm only able to fall asleep at 3-ish every night. Projects and paintings are still left undone still. Talking about painting, I've tried to complete everything in the afternoon just now but I literally failed. Painting tints and shades kills until I can strangle myself. Skipped. I wanted to do another painting, but I DO NOT know how to mix the colors in the color wheel.

I'm chillin' with dear Elvina @ Starbucks, Tampines Mall now. It's so cosy here and I'm slouching into the comfy sofa that they have. How sweet to share a cup of Mocha together as we just wanted to chill at one corner.

I've been mentally and physically drained. I've fell too deeply and refused to stand up. No, I was just denying the fact. These setbacks in our life are challenges for us to overcome, to get over and learn. No one is able tell me what's worth for and what's not, not anyone except myself. With all the encouragements and supports around me, finally I realized. Life is just not about this, there're more for me to discover, for me to try. Up till now, I'm not really convinced that fate is everything. Perhaps different people has different perceptions. All I can do now is to miss you.

On a random Tuesday after school, Elvina and I decided to head down to Ikea for meatballs and salmonnnn. She's one of my favorite classmate that stand by me especially recently when I'm right at the end of the edge <3

This year, Jason's birthday fell on Friday the 13th. It sounded creepy and it felt horrible to even talk about it but no, that night was a blast. Before meeting the rest for drinking over @ Mango in celebration of Jason's birthday, I caught Priest at town.

Poor Jason had to finish up this waterfall even though he was alr half-drunkkk. But it's the "tradition" to get drunk if you're the birthday boy, perhaps with exception to the birthday girl.

"Bottle up!" This was how they drink hahahahhha.

Drunk; after countless cups of liquor we offered to him plus the killer waterfall. Then he was left there, sleeping beside my sis for the rest of the session.

Bcause I was too full so I did not try on the black pepper crab :// But I guess this photo tells all, it looks delicious and yummy isn't it?

It isn't easy, in fact this is hundred times tougher that I thought. I tried and I did but to no valid, eventually I failed in the end. I fell deeper than ever and I might even take forever to get out of it. Why it seems so real yet unreal at the same time? I couldn't explain how I felt overall and it happened in a sudden that I took a long time to get it almost right because I still did not get it right yet. Why is it so? If I wasn't at my wits end, I would rely on my own for everything. Impossible possible?

I've been constantly riding on a emotional rollercoaster and repeatedly I was ended up being there uncountable times. Even though this sounds silly but I could get my warmth there, I was reassured - hoping. It has been weeks since then but nothing has ever changed yet. I can get a pail in front of me and fill it up. I know, but I don't know how long more can I endure with this. I'm so devastated. I've tried I'd tried.

Talking about school gets me a little excited to know what class I'll be in and who are my classmates. Even so, actually I don't mind being alone especially in Polytechnic. With such a big social environment, u came in contact with all sorts of people. I still clearly remember how my Year 1 was.. Anw I'll be going to Malaysia to visit my relatives over the next weekend (22nd-24th April). Why must every event falls on that weekend ): Oh well, time to prepare for work!

I finally got a job, this time round hopefully I'm able to stay for long. It has been too hard to get a new job after leaving my previous work. At least I'll be packed with work instead of killing flies and even mosquitoes at home. I'm just kidding, my house is clean and neat! I've started on my exercise routine few days ago, be it on other peoples' views that I'm fat or okay-ish, I still need to burn off some fats and reduce my weight. Who don't like to be in a better shape? Start running and tone-up muscles! Hahahahaaaahahh.

I was very busy last two days; to prepare everything for my first year anniversary (12 months relationship with JW) with maiiii bf! Few days before Thursday I was flying around several areas in town to get the ingredients/things needed. On Thursday, I head over to my godparent's house to bake some durian puffs. No pictures were taken as I did not have so much time for that. Fillings tasted great, need to be creamy-er. I was so disappointed to have a whole tray of "chao da" puffs for my first attempt. The temperature was so wrong but I followed the recipe ): So I had to bake for the second time which was a success one! After which went to Jiaxiang's chalet.

For anyone who are curious, my bf and I got together on last year's April Fool Day. I had to wake up early to get fresh ingredients for my sushi. It took me 3hrs or more to prepare the sushi. We went to Changi beach for picnic. I like the peacefulness over there, I can hear the sound coming from the waves, airplanes, birds.. We spent half of the day over there and caught Sucker Punch @ Downtown East. I love how a day can be spent so simply like this (:

Darkness falls

12:57AM, I can only feel the loneliness right now, how I'm afraid to be alone in this darkness. Perhaps it's just going to be a nightmare and I'll need struggle through the night and await for morning sunrise. Many thoughts many questions are running wild in my head and it's terrible. Can I ever be this strong or am I just trying hide my emotions somewhere? How real this can be to be measured in a scale of hundred? I pictured the beautiful moments down to keep u with me but this is not magic, so it's not going to work - I'm frightened. I'm losing my confidence.

I spent countless of nights to explore different designs and had finally came up with an idea yesterday. I only slept at 3am just to complete 3/4 of the card, to be honest I was eager to see the final product. Heeheehe I'm so proud of myself as this is the best card that I've made so far! It's 12:19PM now, I'm up too early and have got nothing to do right now. Having insomnia during holiday's a killer. I shall proceed to complete the card.

Out with Phoebe <3

Finally headed to Orchard Road with Phoebe after so many days of being at home. I could have just died ): I thought, I should be working my ass off instead.

Actually we went out w/o having a destination on mind so we spent our time "invading" the shopping malls in Orchard Road. From 313 to Cineleisure, Heeren and then Ion and we walked all the way to The Cathay and finally settled down @ Ajisen in Plaza Singapura to have our dinner.

We talked and ranted about almost every single thing. I felt that this pull us even closer, from then, I've learnt how to cherish this best friend even more. From time to time, u'll realize who to treasure, who stays and who leaves. I'm not able to change one's decision and neither am I able to influence your thinking but only to accept these realistic facts. That's about all.

Pray for Japan

My heart sank after reading/listening to the news from all over the web that earthquakes hit Japan. Aftermath was a ten-metre high tsunami that strike the coast causing deaths and massive destructions to Japan. Lost of home, lost of family members. This is horrifying, to see Mother Earth's cruelty on humans.

What's more disheartening to see my timeline (Twitter) of having tweets that were more worried of their idols instead of directing their concern to the people who had suffered from this disaster. It sucks, it's humiliating.

And definitely it makes me feel fortunate of living in Singapore, to be a Singaporean, even though we're just a red dot. But we need not worry about natural disasters. So in return, we can help by lending our helping hands for people who were not as fortunate like us. A small action from us can make a big difference to them. Let us pray for Japan, pray for the world.

Goodnight world, is time for me to rest now. I just got back home from JJ's concert - lan gaming - supper and lastly walking journey from Little India to Sengkang. Beat that, I've done it! It was an awesome and wonderful day for me <:

Ridiculously, my right contact lens went missing in the midst of the concert. How did it even happened? The wonders of fingers I guess! I removed the other side and threw it away. This is so sad that I wore it for a few occasions only and now I need to get another pair. Should I try Freshkon then?

I've forgotten to take my tablet in the morning again!

Can't believe we spent 3 hrs odd (which equals to a distance of 15.7km) walking back home from Dhoby Ghaut yesterday night. Before we do so, we stopped by @ Little India for supper to give us some energy to continue the journey. HAHAHA. Amazing.
Now my sole's hurting badly and can only rely on foot-wears to minimize the pain.

Back to my blog, feel like layers of dust has been settling here for a while. I don't know or perhaps I've lost my interest on many things. For example blogging and photography. I spent lesser time on blog and had realized that I hasn't been taking photos. I need a new gadget, a one that I will love but what's more important now is to get a job and have some earnings generating into my savings account.

On the 2nd of March, it marked my last day of being a Year 1 student in Retail Management. I hope and wish to see improvement in my results for this semester even though the chance of hitting my desire GPA of 3 is lesser than 1%.

I'm supposed to be mugging for my oncoming Final Year 1 Examination but instead I spent my time doing shopping online and just made payment for it. How am I supposed to continue with distractions from social-networking as well? No, to be exact I was just refreshing Facebook page continuously.

Retail Accounting 2 is just giving me headache. As to be honest, I did not even attend the lectures at all after Mid-Semester. I thought I had privileges from taking Principle of Accounts during Secondary School. I should be able to handle it, hopefully.

Need to get back on track now, so that's about all!

I went to consult a doctor on my skin problems today and hopefully all the products (tablets, cleanser and cream) works for me! Yes, it's a doctor from a clinic not any dermatologist that is specialized for skin problems. From what I heard and even took a further step to do research, there results were good so I'd decided to seek advices from the doctor!

Meet up with dearest Phoebe today <3 Spent our time figuring Serangoon NEX layout and had a sudden crave on yogurt. So we head towards Sogurt and got ourself first cup of lychee plus my favorite yumyum mochisss <3 I love Japanese mochi, best thing on Earth! I would really appreciate if someone gets me mochiiii <: As it was too tasty so we bought another cup and we spent a total of 10bucks odd on yogurt. Hahhhahaa. It was a sweet treat for once a while.

I believe everyone enjoyed during Chinese New Year period and had collected numerous angbaos, well mine was average. I was too lazy to take out my camera to snap some photos therefore there'll be a "no-photo post". Perhaps my interest in photography has died on me. But I still wanna get my SLR. I don't feel like schooling actually bcause I'm sick of projects, daily routines and etc. I know if I quit school, it won't bring me anywhere so I'll grab on trying not to fall. I miss my old hair. I hate dead ends and my colour. I wish my hair is str now and I'm going to get my colour done some day.

Chinese New Year's nearing and perhaps I'm still not prepared. I haven't gotten any new clothes yet, spring cleaning hasn't started and utmost importantly, I need a new hair colour. Honestly, I've been staying with this long flat boring hair for millions and it'll be a great time to change it. I want to curl actually, but I don't want my hair to turn out ugly, I fear.

Randomly thought - I took my Macroecons retest last Friday. I stepped into the class feeling confident that's a good thing. But after the test, I realised my careless mistake, utterly nonsense.

I need to get a new laptop, current VAIO is going sot. I'm pondering to purchase Mac Book instead bcause I want to get a lightweight one this time round. I hate to carry sucha heavy electronic with me to school, it's adding on to my load.

Today, marks the last day of 2010.
Thankfully, I met JW and got together with him. This man, is someone who treats me with his heart and soul. He's also the one I think that is forever. -Please let it be- Thereafter I got a space in Temasek Polytechnic. Life in there is like a roller coaster where there are equally happy and bad moments I supposed. I believe that coming 2011 (which is a few hrs away) will be a better year and definitely a new start.

Haihai, I'm having my holidays now and I'm enjoying it cause I doubt I'll be looking for a job. Even though I know I'll be so broke during this festival season ): Hahahaaaha. Plus I need to save up for perhaps genting trip next year with my friends so I must not spend so much and get a job quick.

Flea last Saturday with sis and Vanessa was great. During the day, it rained and we all had to hide under the shelter (which has limited space).

It's a busy week due to term test, and our dear Hannah Tamara was back last Friday! So I had been spending time either on revision or catching up with her <: I'd mentioned this before on my Twitter that I missed my Macroecons paper on Monday. I was so eagerly wanting to excel in this paper but I was late, half an hr late. I was disappointed and demoralized ): But.. I hope that I will score well for all the other papers, I pray for it. Hahahhaaa. I'm currently in school studying for my Retail Accounting paper at 5pm later. After my paper, am going to meet up with my dearests for dinner, perhaps chomps? Wish me luck for my papers! Completed one of the article analysis for Macroeconomics and one more to go. In fact, I enjoyed doing this assignment even though I'd a difficult time to find the right article (perhaps thirty minutes on research). I'm too lazy to continue now.

To add on why I started rather early was b'cause I'm afraid I would be rushing or having no time when the datelines of all proj/etcs are nearing. And it won't warm getting prepared early - well-prepared.

I need to start revision for my term test. JW was flaunting to me that he doesn't need to revise as it'll be easy for him except his Engine Maths. How I wish I don't need to memorize all the words and concepts too.

Hannah will be back soon and I miss her!

It's the 1st of December! Happy 8th to you my beloved JW <3 When my friends asked about the date we started out and I told them it was April the first (which is April Fool). Hahaha, I doubt we both know why too.

Do you've the Christmas feel yet? I do! Even bf's house has Christmas decorations on, minus away Christmas tree which will be much later. I want to see the awesome fireworks, exchange presents with my dearest friends, enjoy the magnificent lightings on Orchard Road and definitely have a feast with friends and family. How great can this be!
